ride height
i have 4 different ride heights. passenger rear is 1 finger, driver rear is 2 finger, passenger front is 3 fingers and driver front is 4? can i buy 4 different springs to fix this? jk kinda weird though.

You would have to be. If it is that way, something is wrong with your springs. By replacing the springs, your level should then be even, because all the springs would be.

I believe it is setup that way to be level once the driver's weight is on board. Sit in your car and have someone else check the ride height and see.

~180lbs is not going to result in 3/4" or more of compression per wheel.

After installing my H&R's, the drivers side of the car was higher by 1/8". Me sitting in the car made the car completely level I weigh 165.

the M cars have a height difference from the factory for the driver to level off the height
the car is all about balance and 50/50 remember. E46 was setup the same way |

I wonder if transport has anything to do with that; does anybody know how are cars secured on the vessel? Remember my GTO had its springs collapsed (built in Australia). I think the safest way to secure them is from the tires, rather than pulling them down, no? Just curious.
I haven't checked mine, but it's definitely higher in front; maybe that's the way they all are. Take care. |
