128 Msport fog/135 no fogs?

The M sport kit on the 128i looks very sweet, and with the fogs looks even cooler than the 135i.

Does anyone know, or have read, why BMW choose not to include fogs on the 135i, but they do on the 128i M sport?

One more thing, the 128i short shift kit is $299. The same kit for the 135i costs $579. I find this very much to be bullsh*t!

So, just because the 135i costs more, does that mean the same options should cost more too?.

No fogs on the 135i because they'd block the oil cooler and break cooling vents. The 128i has neither.

They only block the oil cooler, not the brake cooling vents. Here is a pic that shows the back of the foglight assembly. Notice that the brake cooling duct would still receive air flow (thanks ulrichd):

There's a thread from a while back talking about retrofitting the M-Sport lights onto the 135i but it seems to have died out. The main issues are as stated, figuring out a way to continue to route cool air to the oil cooler (which shouldn't be hard) and finding the OEM wiring for the lights after the switch, which no one has been able to find.

Where is/are the IC's (intercoolers) in the 135i?

The intercooler is mounted dead center in the bottom of the bumper.....you can easily see it though the black plastic grille.

If you're talking about the oil cooler, it's mounted in the front of the passenger side front wheel. The air passes through the spot where the right fog light would go and exits out in front of the right front wheel, you can see the grate in there that covers it.
