ED Reschedule

Has anyone here rescheduled their delivery in Munich. I was told by my CA that I could not change the date.

Can I just show up @ welt early one morning for pick up? Is that even possible. I don't want to have to fly all the way out to Munich and be disappointed.

Any insights?

I rescheduled by one day about 5 weeks prior to pickup. There is some flexibility there - but the factory and the Welt (delivery center) may have to agree depending on how you are moving it.

In fact, the day I arrived for picking up the car, I arrived very early and they moved me into an earlier slot so I wouldn't need to wait as long. I found everyone very accommodating within reason.

I think appointments can be changed if there is sufficient notice and space is available.
What kind of reschedule are you talking about? If, for example, your flight is delayed and miss your appointment, I think staff at the Welt will still welcome you if you give them some notice.
But if your situation is different, you cannot just show up unannounced and expect delivery because they have to prepare your car insurance and registration for the day you pick up.

I had ED scheduled June 12th but would have overstayed Travel Visa. Called BMW AG European Delivery and was able to reschedule for June 6th instead. BMW NA and CA have no control over scheduling.

It should be on your order sheet they send you. I believe it's part of the mailer package.

Most Germans are out of the office at three pm on a Friday; might want to set the alarm.
