Should I be worried?

My 135 set sail on Monday 11-17 for NYC. Web site says it should dock Dec.1st. Horay!!

I ordered 6 sp MT, yet the OC web site still states the vehicle I ordered is a steptronic paddle shift.

Anyone else run into this where the options ordered are different than what OC says?

Cheers,

Yes. The car that I picked up from German says on the OC that it has the paddle shifters. And it didn't show the Smartphone option on the car either.

Well, it's a stick. Of course, when I saw that prior to pick up, I freaked out and called BMW. They did NOT make me feel better and told me to call my dealer. They checked in the system and showed that all was well.

It was delivered without a hitch. That's not to say that it doesn't happen - there's always a possibility of it going wrong. But I wouldn't really rely on the Owner's Circle...

You may try to add a new car to your profile on OC with your car VIN, see if anything different. Then delete the old entry. If it is the same car showing, then may be there is a problem or may be not.

I had the factory tour when I did ED at Welt in Munich. With the custom made car method, every car is different. BMW factory just give a piece of paper with a list hanging on your car, and worker at each operational spot on assembly line add parts on your car. So, it is possible something may go wrong. Also, one interesting thing is that the only way to tell which car is built for USA market is a sticky on the body with 'US' sign it on assembly line. By the way, for example, if someone canceled the order, if the body is already made (say with red paint), then it will sleep in the storage room until another guy ordered the same red color.
