D-Force EmPower 18x8.5" non-staggered setup

Got a new setup for the car. Just ran this at the Euro Tuner Super Lap Battle. Can't wait for the 1 series specific wheel to arrive from D-Force that will allow us to run a 275 rear.

Wheels: D-Force EmPower

Front: 18x8.5 +40
Spacer: none

Rear: 18x8.5 +40
Spacer: none

Tires:
Front: Dunlop Direzza Z1 Star Spec 255/35/18
Rear: Dunlop Direzza Z1 Star Spec 255/35/18

Suspension/Fender Mods/Camber:

-KW V3 lowered ~1.5" front, ~1" rear
-Vorshlag camber plates (front)
-slight fender roll front & rear
-had to cut some of the plastic out from the inner fender well

Notes:

These Dunlops run quite a bit wider than the Toyo R1R's that were previously mounted on there. The rears would rub when going up driveways. At the track event we just went to there was zero rub.

so the plug and play 255/275 setup is officially in production? realistically, what could I run with the empower wheels if I weren't running camber plates?

I'm SO anxious for the staggered setup D-Force is doing for our cars it isn't even funny. Do you think I'll need to roll my fenders to run 255s in the front if my car isn't lowered at all...?

The fronts 8.5" are available now. I spoke with the owner of D-Force and the rears are in the prototype stage now.

If you dont' have the camber plates in the front might be a little tight with the tire clearance. Maybe run a 245 or 235 front and a 255 rear.

For the rear, when the new 1er specific wheels come out you should be able to run at least a 275. A 285 should also fit if you roll the fender sligthly.

Gruppe-S/Dynamic Autosports (same company) is one of our master wholesale distributors. They also corner balanced the car for us.

ME TOO! I just think that it's so cool that they're making a wheel just for us 1er owners.

If you don't have camber plates you may have to roll the fenders. The camber plates tilt the tops of the wheels "in", giving you more tire/fender clearance.
