I cubed a wheel once and my wife did it once. It really sucks since we take care of our cars. We had it fixed for about $100 but that was eight years ago. I did it trying to park on an end spot. Two BMW’s later and no cub marks but you have to work to keep it from happening. Be lucky our cars are not lower. My Z4 was so low when my wife (at least I tried to blame her) pulled up to one of those concrete parking stops the spoiler hit the concrete and cracked the grill in the spoiler.
There is a thread that shows how to fix a wheel. If my wife ever does it again:wink: I will fix it myself but I am a DIY kind of guy.

For a longer term solution you should look into a passanger door mirror that changes angle when reversing, so it gives a view of the curb! I can't imagine it would be very hard to install.
