I'm looking into it now. Getting a quote tomorrow. I'm to the powder coating place next week to look at his sample. Black Chrome is really cool looking.

I sanded and prepped my winter wheels (17" e39 m5 reps) and am having a friend paint them in black chrome. Duplicolor has a two step kit that you can get in any autoparts store for about $20 that is designed for wheels. I will get pictures taken professionally later in the month after I buff my car.

Any photos of the stock rims/black chrome at a distance on the car? Black chrome looks so good. I'm not sure how they will look on my Crimson Red 135.

I think BMW is starting to offer its wheels in a black finish. Atleast I saw some new 1er's with black wheels on my last trip to the dealer here.
