My 135i on a Targa Stage
Uploaded a video I shot a couple of days ago. Drove the 5.45km in just over 4 minutes. The top guys in Targa Tasmania do it a LOT faster. Enjoy.

Embedded for ya...
Cool video! Seems really weird to see a road so desolate and wintery looking at this time of year. Is that the suction cup mount that you Aussies imported? Works well, if so. |

Thanks larryn! It's winter down here at the moment, and Tasmanian roads are lightly trafficed and often nice and twisty. That's why we have the annual Targa Tasmania tarmac rally here.
http://www.targa.org.au/ My suction mount is an ebay al cheapo. Can't use it on the inside of the back windscreen because of the angle of the glass. So I had to stick it on the side.

Nice of your navigator to do the filming for you mate
Just a friendly reminder too, you might not want to have stuff like crossing double-white lines available for plod to see. There's cases up north here of the constabulary using it as evidence to prosecute. Especially don't have anything showing your speedo or time/distance unless you can prove you're on private roads! |

You crazy Aussies! My best fun police experience was asking a cop parked next to an unplowed empty parking lot if I could "test the snow traction" on my E30 -- he said yes and moved his SUV over to watch, then let me know when another cruiser was coming so neither of us would get in trouble. Always sweet when the law enforcement unofficially sanctions a bit of fun. |

Yes I'm serious. Mind you this would probably only happen in a state like Tasmania. Very easy going laid place.
Now let's see..... SSV... 270kw 530Nm, 6 litre V8.... it'll be a close challenge.
