tomorrow's the day

which means tonight is christmas eve!

ironically, i got the call just after i was taunted and tantalized by a lady in a nice white 128i on the highway today. 4th 1er i've ever seen on the road, even in the crowds of NJ. weirdly, 3 of the 4 1er's i've seen on the road were rich looking (plastic surgery) women driving white 128i's. presents from their husbands? i hope not.. i don't want this car to be looked at like that..


anyway, i'm very excited. as i drove home on one of the only windy forest roads around here (through sloatsburg, NY to ringwood, NJ) i kept thinking about how much more fun it would be doing it tomorrow! i found a checklist of things i should take note of and do tomorrow as i pick up the car (actually, it was meant for an X5, and posted a while back in response to someone else by RastaGurl, it's here if anyone's interested: http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=10079&highlight=checklist)
But does anyone have any other suggestions as to what I should be doing/looking for?

Congrats on today being "the day."

I drive that road from Sloatsburg to Ringwood every night on the way home (best part of the commute for sure) and often dream just how much fun it would be if I were in a 1'er.

thanks! it's a fun road for sure, but its potential is usually hampered. during the day there's always either slowpokes or cops patrolling it and at night i tend to have to be very careful because i see lots of deer along it, and of course the deer don't seem to care if they die. ever since i knew i was getting the 1er i'd always imagine i was driving it instead of my car every time i was on it. now all i have to do is wait for work to end, and hopefully not die of anticipation on my 2 hour commute home..
