How do they really know the residual value if the 1 series has been available for a few months? Im sure its resale value will be good, all BMW's are, but I think its a little early to tell.

Change "months" to "years" and there is the answer.

Yeah just because it just came out in the US...almost everything in the car has been out for awhile
