Finally reunited with my 1

54 days after dropping my car off on my Euro Delivery trip, it is back in my possession as of last night. That was one of the most painful waits, but definitely worth it. Here it is at my dealer.

Are you on or near the East coast? That makes a big difference compared to those of us who have to go through the West coast. My car also sat on the docks in Southampton, UK for two and a half weeks.

I believe that is how this particular dealer likes to redeliver the ED cars. As kja325ci said, it also attracts business.

The 'ring was absolutely incredible. I highly recommend a visit to anyone who is considering European Delivery.

I'm in Chicago but take delivery through Jersey. I think the 2.5 week wait at the dock was the big reason for delay; my car was fortunately picked up after only a 5 day wait.

Congrats on getting it back, though, and it looks great! Kinda weird the first couple of days driving it on crappy roads full of horrible drivers, right?

No doubt about that. I think I may take it up on some mountain roads this weekend for some fun.

Congrats Jason! As a fellow ED'er I can certainly appreciate your pain in waiting. I'm down to 24 days left and I don't know what I'm going to do with myself. Now go enjoy your 1'er American style (the boring/slow way) LOL

I'm 48 days after drop off, too.
