considering BMW doesn't change body styles year against year...
Doesn't look like too much...
IMO I think we might see the addition of the sport kit standard on the 128 or maybe take the 09 3 series front...
Just my two cents...with BMW...who knows

Commemorative Book and the 'Year One of the 1' engraving will not be available in 2009

Hopefully not much... not be shmuck for those that are ordering the '09 but it would piss me off if there were dramatic changes. I'll also be a little jealous/sad if they offer space grey on the 1er as that would've been my choice.

I also saw that Sparkling Graphite Metallic would not be a color choice!

Hopefully they will put something more interesting in its place. I like some of the greys as much as the next guy, but I would kill for something with more visual impact.

You don't think SGM is interesting, what with it's purple hues and different looks in different lights?

I, for one, am getting really tired of TiAg and even Silver Gray, which I had on my last car.

I hope the 29.2 turbo lag and fuel pump issues get fixed for 09. Hopefully they fix this and don't raise the price too much. It would be great if bmw offered non runflats as an option. Being forced to have them is not really good. I can't afford the car then spending more on it right away. The 135i seams to come with all that is needed with a few options like sport pkg and heated seats for us cheese heads.

I'd like a cream white... since we're fantasizing about colors here.

Is there a source for this?
I am probably going to wait for the 09's to come out, and the SMG is my choice of color...

I saw something about that for the 3 sedans... Didn't know it was impacting the 1. I would think about giving up my order slot if they decide to offer Tasman Green...

This one of the few reasons I didn't wait for the 09 as I wanted the SGM

If I wasn't set on Alpine white, space grey from the 3 series would be great. SMG is too dark IMO, its about the same color as my Accord minus the purple hue. Too dark and gets dirty easy.
I vote for Space Grey being added.

SMG is the 2nd most popular color on this forum. why they want to delete it is a mystery

6speed MT has slight more lag than the steptronic maybe this is the lag your talking about.

Even thou there has been zero proof that the 135i has a inherent turbo lag issue. Every dyno test the 135i has produced flawless table top curves. No lag found so where is this garbage coming from. All threads regarding 135i turbo lag turned out to be flat untrue.

No matter what type of turbo your using their is always a lag. Out of all the turbo cars I have owned and drove, the N54 has the least turbo lag out of any turbo car to this date. Its almost untraceable
