Best Advise?

I've received so many really good tips and advise from this forum! Whats the best tips or advise that you received from 1addicts? Here's my top 10.

1. McGuires scratch remover for when I scratched my clear coat wiping off bird sh*t.

2. The window situation on the vert; dont raise rear window, then front,or front will misalign.

3.Where and where Not to park my 1er for least amount of collateral damage and how to watch out for "haters".

4.How to get my ipod to schuffle play on the 1er stereo system.

5.Coupe or Vert? (got the vert)(tnx.Tagman)

6.How to correctly set up side view mirrors; may be best piece of advise yet!!

7.Tire/Rim choices and options.

8.break in period dos and donts

9.Clown nose that wont blink.

10.128 or 135?

Thanks for all the great tips! Nice to know there's others out there with similar issues, and how to address em.

Don't forget all the tips for ordering and pricing. Since I don't have mine yet, that's been the only practical advice I can test. I'm thinking I may have to spend a few days downloading or printing all the great info about all the other features I expect to want to remember. Someone ought to develop a database. The 1 series wiki.

-How good CA is

-The installation guide with pictures of the BMW performance pedals

-How good the windscreen was

-VERY early on I got advice here from a guy that had sat in a 1. My biggest fear was that there was not enough headroom as I am 6'3". He went out of his way to take pictures and show me that it had enough headroom and that is the single reason why I decided to not buy a different car and wait for the 1.

Unlike a "One BMW site to fit all" *cough Bimmerforums cough*, most everyone here owns a 1, has a 1 on order or is looking to buy a 1. We all have the same goal...to enjoy all the love that is the 1. :w00t:
