What should i pay?

Well im probaly going to go to a BMW dealership soon to talk some numbers on a Alpine White 128i, with Sports Package. No other options. Just built it on the site and it came out to- 30,725$
I know this a pretty stripped down base 1er, so do you guys think it will be possible to get anything knocked off the MSRP? If so, around how much?

That price you see is MSRP. You can do much better.
Price it again with options from 2-3 online places like Edmunds, Cars.com, Vehix Etc...

Start at the invoice price and go up from there. 500 - 1000 over invoice plus tax and fees is a good place to start.

You have LOTS of leverage:

- bad economy
- slow car sales
- high gas prices
- slightly less popular model (128i)

I just got the best deal via the internet at a close dealer. $1,500 off MSRP. Another dealer quoted me $500 off MSRP. Now I am asking about any other fee's like MACO and training. I will find out after work. The dealer that quoted me $500 off MSRP added no other fee's. Its kind of fun trying to get a good deal even though I am not buying any car until next Feb 09. They have no idea. HAHAHA

My deal is $500 over dealer's true invoice (invoice + MACO + training). I see you are in the Bay Area also. PM me if you need a no hassle dealer.

Why waste the dealers time if you are not buying anytime soon?
