That makes 2. The reason I posted this is that ED'ers posts, are scattered all over the forum, and it would be best for us to be in a thread so we can share helpful tips to a 1 in need.

Incredible experience, I need to find a way to get paid driving a 135 around Europe. Just waiting for the car to come so I can drive it daily at ridiculously low speed limits.

September 13. Unfortunately, that means the car doesn't get here until almost Holloween.

Sept 18 ED for me...I'll be ecstatic if I get my car by halloween, although i'm not counting on it. I'm thinking more like Turkey Day.

Hah ha, thanks Angkor, the excitement, thrills and adventure plus probably digging in to our european languages books when we were in high school. i am excited, and i will keep in mind the flashing electronic sign of that Audi (Under cover Cops)in Austria? who pulls Bimmers in euro tourist plates.

Picked mine up May 19th. Waiting for it to get home. Like everyone else, only good things to say about it. Folks need to overcome their natural inertia and take it on. I haven't figured up exactly how much the trip cost out of pocket after paying ED MSRP versus the US MSRP I would have paid, but probably only a couple of thousand and that was staying at 3-4 star hotels and eating very well in Munich and Venice.

Just got back Tuesday the 10th. Unbelievable time, one of the best I've had. Best of all, since I was in Germany on business any way, the flight was free! I ended up making about $2k to spend five days zooming around Europe. :w00t:

Thanks fellas for sharing your experiences, and as more will trickle in (yes the links helped), hopefully, this becomes the thread to go to for questions relating to 1 series ED. Of course the links below are helpful too:
http://www.bimmerfest.com/wiki/index...opean_Delivery http://www.edbmw.com/main/ The search continues for the No. 1 who took the 1 at Welt.... maybe its Darth? Hey John, did you notice it on the book who was before you? |
