Week 24 Support Group

Well, I just got off the phone with a BMW representative who advised my car is scheduled for Week 24 production.

Any others out there ?

damn, that sucks... i ordered 3 days before you and I am in production as of the 23rd (week 22-23)!

must have had allocations ahead of you that needed to be filled...

Count me among the other "week 24" people. Montego Blue 135 with ZSP, CA, BA, HD radio, premium hi-fi, and leatherette.

I have been waiting ages for my 128i. I ordered the 2nd week of March but I am doing a Euro Delivery for June 23rd. Looks like the car will still be air drying by the time I pick it up!

The rep told me I was in the range of 24-27. I don't really know how to take that. I hope I'll fall into week 24.

My CA screwed me, though. He told me he had an allocation when I ordered on May 9th. In fact, having the allocation was one of his selling points. I was really upset when I called yesterday to find out why the vehicle hadn't been produced last week or why it won't be produced next week. I'm still upset. I want my car.

I just got a printout from my CA and it says weeks 24 under Conf. Prod. and then week 27 under Qouta so I dont know when it would be. I ordered on memorial day and he said 2 months.

My car was ordered on Monday June 2nd, it went into production on the 4th or 5th and it was completed on the 11th! I am not yet at the docks yet or on a boat. Very fast production.

My car is Monaco Blue, Terra Interior, Sport, Premium, Navi, CA, and high-fi system. Pretty much everything except active steering and park distance control!

I am not sure how I will know when it does get on a boat...but I am sure somebody posted that already and I just couldn't find it...

I might be a week 24 now that it was completed and has been on the doct ever since Friday of last week... I guess the uncertainty really kicks in now, since I have NO idea to my vehicle's place in line. For all I know, it can be last and it won't get on a vessel until mid to late June...
