Fedora Passengers!

Hello everybody...just wanted to say hello and get an idea of who else is on the fedora with me...my black 135 is on this one destined for freehold nj...sounds like the est arrival is may 23...so i am assuming we should have our cars around june 1??

I just missed the Fedora ! My production completion date was 4/30, when was yours?

I'm on the Fedora too! It seems like it's going slowly. Originally, it was supposed to arrive on the 22nd! I'm hoping to get my car by the end of May, but I guess early June is more likely.

Also on the Fedora. Also on the way to Freehold. Who was your sales person? I figure we might be in for a slight delay because the 23rd is the friday before Memorial Day weekend and I figure not much work will be done with the vehicles until Tuesday, May 27th. Thats just my own guess. I would expect the car on May 30th or so.

my sales guy was harry....did u happen to get any discount...i paid msrp...im thinking about trying to haggle again and try to get the paint protection kit

I paid MSRP but I haggled a lot over my trade-in. I guess I did get 200 under MSRP, but they just lopped it onto the trade in number. I didn't really care since a dollar is a dollar.

I bought from Bob after getting annoyed with Rick.

I don't know much about the paint protection, but if you are going to haggle, let me know ahead of time and I'll join in. I'm a bit annoyed that the Costco pricing came out shortly after I bought the car.

As stated in other posts, I'll already be demanding $100 off as they screwed up my paddle shifters and didn't include the price, and as a merchant, they are required by law to bear the brunt of the error.

I saw on the shipping website that my 135 was unloaded from the Fedora at about 2pm on Friday. The BMW website still lists it as "en route". Anyone who was on the Fedora know if they are at the prep center yet?

Any idea how long it will take at the NJ Prep Center for NJ owners? I figure it might not be as long since it should take only a few hours to get to my dealership.

I think the big wait is waiting for them to get to the car at the prep center, not the time it takes for transport. I've heard that the prep centers can be busy, especially the NJ one, and it can take a few days for them to get to the car.

My dealer has informed me that delivery is scheduled for Saturday and I should be able to pick the car on Monday at the latest. There is still a chance that it might come in earlier it which case I'll be able to pick it up on Saturday. These last few days of waiting are the hardest...
