Look what came in the mail!
I was invited to see the "official debut" the new M3 and 135i. There will be test driving, food, drinks. I am definitely looking forward to driving the 135i and the M3 if I can. I just need to show my license and proof of insurance. All I need to do now is whip out the suit and put on a good smile!! Anyone else been invited to Stevens Creek BMW? |

I just went to the official M3 and 135i test drive event and it was great the only bad side was I was half the age of most people there I am only 21. It was funny because alot of the people at the event were saying that the 1 series was sometimes more fun to drive than the M3. I am waiting for my 135i to come in this month and let me tell you the M3 is a beast in its own but I am not sure if I would like it for every day driving. Tell me how you like it. I am located in Edmonton, Alberta Canada buy the way.

I test drove the X6. I was surpised how well a 2.5 ton vehicle ran with our N54 for power. Wierd vehicle though.
The only vehicles in BMW's entire lineup I like are the M3 and 135i. Everything else thay make seems wierd to me. Strange consoles and joystick shifters. Maybe I'm just getting old.....YOMV |

I got the same invite from East Bay........however, mine says "Appointments will be taken" rather than test drives.

Just got back from the event at Stevens Creek BMW. Boy was it fun and extremely interesting! Took a few pictures. Unfortunately the SLR camera had a dead battery. Took lots of 2 megapixel shots from the camera phone. Along with a 4 megapixel Cybershot. Will post pics as soon as possible!!

Alright so these were all taken from the Motorola Z6M 2MP camera phone. So don't be expecting much. I did forget to take pics of the AMAZING catering they had going. I enjoyed ribs, chicken (baked or grilled), garlic bread, fruit, sausages, creme puffs, cookies, and even 31 Flavors Baskin Robins was there!
There were around 20+ 1 series there. Along with that a truck came in carrying in another 9!! I was sad to see soo many verts though.. Price tags were around 50k just for a vert. [IMG] Will have more higher res photos up within a day or so. Enjoy! |

O hey thanks!
Being a former computer builder I know my way around most things. My machine is running at a very slight O/C of .1ghz on each core bringing the machine to 10ghz. By any means I didn't mean to put my computer in the shot. I just set the card there. Sorry! |
