Green Dale west coast boat
Currently scheduled for May 23 Oxnard arrival, should be in the eastern Atlantic right now en route for a May 16 canal arrival.
Anyone have any luck tracking it? Don't think it is reporting its position. |

Nope. I've been trying to track it and can't find it anywhere. If it really does hit the port on 5/23 that would be awesome! As it means I might still have a chance of getting my car by the end of the month.

5/25 is still OK. Priority 1 cars are suppose to get preference at the VPC so I should still have the car by the first week of June.

I am on the Dale. My CA wants the sale in for this month for some sort of sales drive. He said he's going to make it happen and given his incentive I think he just might. I told him every day into June is $100, he laughed, I was serious. The wait is killer.

When did the Green Dale leave Bremerhaven? My car is in Transit as of today. My car is going to Port Hueneme so I hope I am on the Green Dale.

Harms (the ED shipping company) has my car listed to hit customs on May 23 which means the boat will have to be there by then, so I think the port schedule is a little conservative.
Does anyone have any idea where this boat is in the Atlantic? |

According to a post on e90post.com it's scheduled to arrive at the canal on the 16th, but it wont actually go through the canal until the 19th. So once it does finally popup on AIS it's going to be sitting still for a few days.

I've got my fingers crossed that it gets through the canal sooner then expected. If it shows up to port a couple days early then we'll beat the Memorial day weekend holiday and I might actually be able to get my car before the end of the month.

How did you find out about it going through the canal tomorrow? I looked at the Boyds website and didn't see it listed. However they only have a schedule for boats going through the canal after the 18th, so I kind of assumed it must be going through today or tomorrow. I was just wondering how you got a defenitive date?
If it does go through tomorrow then that means it's 2 days ahead of schedule. Which means it could get to port before the holiday weekend. I know that they wont actually do anything with the cars over the weekend, but if it gets there Friday then at least they might be able to unload it and get them all ready to be processed first thing on Tuesday. Which means I just might get mine before the end of the week. <fingers crossed> Dan |

Well it looks like we're through the canal and heading up the coast toward California. It's fallen off AIS for now, but should get picked up again as it gets closer to the port. Luckily that guy in the bimmerfest thread got his trial extended through the end of the month, so we should be able to see it coming into the port. I'm still hoping that with the early transit through the canal it'll get to the port a few days ahead of it's scheduled 5/25 arrival date. However either way I should be driving my new car in about 2 weeks. It's getting closer and I'm getting excited again.
