8.5 et 35 fit with a 245/40 on lowered 128

Will an 18x8.5 et 35 wheel with 245/40s tires fit on my 128i? It's lowered about 1.2 inches with H&R springs on the M struts. I'm fine with rolling the fenders and maybe a degree of front chamber.
I found a used set of Apex's in my area with newish new continental extreme contact dws06 plus in the sizes above.

Will this setup work? Anyone else have experience with this?

I’ll offer a non definitive - no. Front might fit with extra camber, but I doubt the rears could be made to work in that combo.

You'll probably need closer to -3 front camber, and the rears will most definitely need a good roll. You'll also likely rub the front fender liner when turning due to the extra poke/tire height of the 40 profile versus the stock 35.

These exact specs:

If you run -3.5 degrees of camber and do the E9x rear hubs with -2.5 degrees of camber it will just, just barely fit.

I have 18x8.5 et 45 with 245/40 and they rub in front with stock m sport suspension… it’s not a ton of rub but it does. I have not been able to try adding camber yet.

fronts you will have to roll the fender flush, trim bumper tabs and have coilovers to clear the wider tires. Follow Apex's 17x9 fitment guide for the details. Rears at +35 will rub allot unless you're willing to cut and flare the rear fenders.

I'm running ST XTA w/o helper spring to get the lower spring perch above the tire. I'm running 255 square setup on RPF1 18x8.5 +40 with 5mm up front. Rears rub on big dips, I need to try more camber before i get in there and try to roll fender again which is huge PITA since there is foam, and double metal seams.

Car handles like a go kart and very predictable, all understeer n front end plowing is gone, so completely worth it.
