Michelin Pilot Sport 4S no longer in 285/35/21?

I'm trying to get a hold of Michelin, but in my hunt for 285/35/21 fronts I noticed on their website that they no longer have it offered as a size. It's not available on Tirerack or Discount Tire as an option either.

Anyone know if this is a discontinued size?

If so, I'm a little miffed because I bought rear 4S' from Tire Rack in July knowing the fronts were on backorder. Been running PSS fronts while I wait. But if they don't offer the 285/35/21 fronts anymore, I will have to buy a whole new front set and have a pair of rear 4S' with about 800 miles on them...

I went with 275/35/21 front and 325/30/21 back
You should be fine with this setup.

Haven't seen many people running the 275 up front… even though it's a better match. Although, I'm on a Vossen that is 10.5" wide in the front. Assuming that means it'll look stretched...

Any handling issues/concerns you've noticed?

Any worries about the load rating 103 for the 275 vs 105 for the 285?

You can't disclose the speeds you've driven? Is it classified information? Would you have to kill us if you told us?

Back on topic...

I did get a call from Michelin stating they don't carry the 285 anymore for the 4S but would sell me PSS. Odd since they say in other threads here to NOT mix the 4S and PSS...

Also odd since Tirerack has the 285s listed to come in stock mid-JAN now too...

I've been waiting since Sept. the date keeps slipping. It's been slipped 8 times now.

I have a feeling it is on the road to or already discontinued…
