2015 F15 X5 amplifier upgrade with Logic7

Hi guys

my car has come with a standard hifi system which isn't that great, i having been looking for the most affordable options to replace the amp, i have checked both bimmertech and Bav which is completely out of my price range, i do have another Logic 7 around and it was rate at 500W, the shop said that he can custom made a harness so can be pnp to replace my existing little 200w amp , however i would have to do the coding myself and the shop that warn me that speaker may not be able to hold such high power amp(due to poor speaker), i wonder if anybody had done this before ? replacing the existing hifi amp with logic 7 amp ? is that a good upgrade ? thank you
