Recommended gas tank nozzle replacement

I had an open track day couple days ago and the closest 93 octane gas station was 20mins away. In preparation for the event I bought 2x Milway 5 gal gas tanks from harbor freight since I couldn’t get the VP racing ones in time. So halfway during the day I need to fill up and the POS nozzles that it comes with isn’t long enough to poke through the gas tank flange so I ended up spilling some of it, luckily a buddy of mine had a long screw driver and helped me push the gas tank flange down while I had to hold the tank and press on the stupid safety latch… all in all took 2 guys using the new EPA POS nozzles to fill up… anyone recommend replacement nozzles or should I just return them and get the VP racing ones.. I just want to be able to fill up on my own

Go find a "SureCan 5gal". I have three.

They don't leak or spill. The fill tube rotates down and you hold the lever. Fuel runs straight in like an old NASCAR quick-fuel tank.

If you are going to consistently bring gas to the track, I recommend you get some that are built for that purpose, and not the "residential gas cans" like the one above which are designed to fill lawn mowers and the like. Even if they work with your car, they will not be as durable. I have 3 gas cans like the one in this Amazon link below:

https://www.amazon.com/Scribner-Plas...001DKSN1Y?th=1

And if you have a trailer, you can get a gas can rack like this one below (this is the one I actually purchased for my trailer several years ago):

A bit difficult to see in this pic below due to the distance, but this is my fuel jug setup on my trailer…

Yeah, buy those jugs and you'll need the trailer.
They only fit in a trunk on their side.
You need a separate top to pour with.
You need a bag to keep the pour top in.

Mine fit 3 wide in the M4 trunk.
The fill spout can't get lost.
Yes, they fill a car easy as they do my mower.

Actually, I have seen people pack the type of gas cans I mentioned in their car, along with tires and a "bag" of tools and other track day stuff - so no trailer required. This includes the extra cap with fill tube attached (which I haven't lost yet after several years of ownership). There is more than one way to skin this cat regarding bringing gas to the track for a HPDE, with or without a trailer. But to each their own….
