200TW too much for stock suspension?
I'm about due for a new set of track tires. I still consider myself a novice but am considering 200TW tires in hopes they will last a bit longer on the track. My car's suspension is near stock (Eibach V1 with Bilstein B6s on the way). Will 200TW tires be too much for the suspension to handle? I do run race pads with castrol SRF on stock iron brakes. I recall reading a thread a while back that recommended stronger springs with high traction tires but couldn't remember if that was for slicks or 200TW or something in between.

OP, you will need some camber plates and added negative camber up front.
Stock suspension will screw up the outside shoulder of the front tires in no time especially as you learn to push your car.

200TW LOVE Camber!!!! especially Yoke A052 tires.
The stock suspension can also handle 100TW tires i have tried it as a cheater mod. FYI 100tw tires make the car feel like it has BBK so much traction the car just stops when you want it. |
