305/645/18 DH Please confirm

18 month forum lurker here but I wanted to confirm this before trying it. I know the rear will fit fine on the chassis with an 18x11 wheel but it's front that concerns me slightly. I know that MasterP has done a 305/645/18 on an 18x10 +25 and bracer has done it with 18x10.5 +40, but I'm wondering if anyone has done it with an 18x10.5 +22 with 3-3.5 degrees of negative camber up front. Calibrated eyeball and napkin math says it will work but I'm too far away from my car at the present time to measure.

Thanks for any input.

I've never tried this myself. We run 285/645/18 front and 305/660/18 rear. However, I've read that 305/345/18 square will work with some negative camber up front. Users bracer and Continental02 were the pioneers of this size a few years ago. Search for their old threads.

Further, a 305 Pirelli DH is roughly the same width as a 295 street tire. The 305 Pirelli DH will let an 18x11 rim hit concrete first if laid on it's side.

** Update - bracer ran a et40 offset with a 20mm spacer for an effective +20mm offset. And being the size of a 295 tire, the 295/30/18 street tires on 18x10.5 et40 (using 20mm spacer up front) are actually the same width and slightly taller. So you should be fine.

Thank you sir. I thought that it might work reading through some of those older threads along with your detailed thread. I'm going to play with sticking an 11 up front as well and will have the DH's along with 27/65-18 Michelin S9M's to play around with. Thanks again .

Not sure if its any help, but i have 305/680R18 Pirelli's on the front on mine on 18x11's. To gain the necessary clearance to give me the warm and fuzzy i had to run a shorter spring (5" linear) & 30mm spacer on Bimmerworld TA16's on my specific setup to get the spring perch above the tires (tractive coilovers). It rubs a bit at full lock on the fender liner but i am heading down the "full retard" track path so i don't mind. You should have no problems with a slightly less tall tire.

How are you liking the 18x11 up front compared to what you had previously?
I'm using those Pirelli's out back, but would love to run 11 up front with em.

I have run 30/65 Michelin on 18x10et25 on the front. Camber plates at a little over -3 camber. The wheel was a bit small but definitely runnable. No scrubbing or strange wear after a full day on track. I test fitted the rear wheel (18x11et44) on the front with a 12mm spacer and it seemed pretty good. It was on a GTS with the factory KW coilovers and different front knuckles so not sure if any offsets are different than a standard M4/3.

Check my recent fitment thread, I provide detailed instructions on how to run a 305/325 stagger. Up front, you need a 19x10.5 +15 to +20 and -3.1 camber.

305/645/18 DH on the front 10.5” with effective offset of 21 (ET36 w 15mm spacer). For some reason, rubs ever so slightly on the driver side, but not on the passenger side. I run it this way, but ideally another 1-2mm offset

MCS 1w with 6” springs
