Good Driving Roads in OC?
In lieu of going to a track, are there any fun driving roads in Orange County? PCH seems a bit boring until you get past Malibu.
Thanks for your help! |

There is a nice road that connects the 5 to the 15 in south OC... I would guess just south of Lake Forest/Laguna Hills area cutting accorss to the Temecula area. I've driven this road once and and its fun to drive. There is also another similar road between Yorba Linda and Chino Hills although not as long. My favorite in my neck of the woods is at the end of Chapman/241 ... just be careful with the roadies (me included).

Santiago Canyon Road and Live Oak Canyon Road off El Toro road in Lake Forest are pretty fun and closer if you live further north on OC. Last edited by attbimmer; 10-19-2008 at 09:33 PM.. |

Fantastic recommendation. Went out for a ride with a friend and it was amazing. Crystal clear skies, huge, bright moon, and newly paved twisting roads up and down the moutain. Honestly, at times I felt like I was in a freakin BMW commercial! Thanks PS. As attbimmer noted, the road is the Ortega Highway (57). Last edited by Kobaiyashi; 10-20-2008 at 01:16 PM.. |
