Should I bleed the coolant system?

Hi all,

I've had to top up engine coolant recently after a leak (now fixed) but im wondering at what point would you bleed the coolant? I had to add a good couple of litres so would it need bleeding or am I ok?

No need to bleed. You should be good to go.

Great thanks! Although the mystery continues as I have some weird green coolant in it even though it had a new engine from BMW just over two years ago!

I've got a feeling its the new BMW HT-12 coolant diluted but I'm trying to confirm it at the moment.
