Hi guys-

Been wanting to put together a thread with my small build progress but decided to throw some pics up here in the mean time.

These should be the first set of F90 specific FI-R's mounted up in the world. Let me know what you think!

The wheels being black and with the edited photos hard to make out the look. I'd honestly refinish them in some color that pops more, like this they get lost way too much.

It was overcast the weekend we took these pics so the lighting definitely wasn't ideal. Hoping to line up a couple more shoots in the near future before I swap back to stocks for the winter.

I wasn't, I bought my car kind of in the middle of that whole discussion so I guess they had already made the decision to go with 21 instead of 20. I had a set of 20" HRE P101s on the car for maybe 2 weeks when I got the call that this set was available. I was hesitant to move to 21 but on this chassis with PS4s, the ride isn't noticeably different from the 20s with the bigger tire. If anything turn in is closer to the stock wheel/tire setup, where on the HREs the bigger tire loses a bit of that feel IMO.

I had the same feeling at first but in person the satin black vs BSM is a pretty noticeable contrast, especially with the larger brakes on the F90.

I have blue bbs caps going on soon so that should help a bit as well.

Most definitely!! I have new blue caps that came in a little bit after the wheels got mounted so I want to stick those on and do some more shoots with the car.

I still have my E46 M3 in my garage and will always remember your OG M3 build. Love your style and your F90 is beautiful as well!

I saw a month ago that IND listed them on their site. Debating between FI-R in platinum gloss or HRE R101 LW in satin black. Will probably stick with HRE R101 LW because I prefer 20” wheels and custom offsets

Looks great! Mind sharing the spec of the wheels and tires? I too am leaning between 20's and 21's.

Sure! These were direct fitment for the f90 so no guesswork was required. No spacers or hubcentric rings required.

Front:

Size: 21 x 10"
ET: 22

Rear:

Size: 21 x 11"
ET: 24
