iDrive Screen Flicker

Hi Everyone,

I'm now onto issue #2 for my 2014 F15 X5 .

In a vain attempt to explain the issue my Sat Nav screen flickers. It doesn't turn off it just fades to an almost black screen - images are just visible. This "flicker" repeats at about 2 to 3 second intervals. The issue also only happens when in the SatNav screen. It doesn't happen on any other, Radio, settings etc.

Sometimes I can drive the car for 30 minutes or so before it starts. Other times it starts almost straight away.

Has anyone else suffered similar issues?

Any ideas would be greatly received.

Just to add, I've tried searching the web but most issues I find are for the precipitous generation cars and the symptoms are not the same as mine.

Please help me🙂. I'm sure there is someone out there who can help me 🙂

Issue #2? you're lagging way behind...you should be at least up to issue #20!

Hey I have 2016 x5. In this coupled week I got same problem like your on the screen flicker ,did you fix yes ? Can you help me ?

You try banging on the dash? To see if it could be a loose connection?
