adaptive LED headlights

Hi. I have a 2017 f80 with the lighting package. What is the expected life of the headlights? What are replacement costs/options? Any concern with coding the lights to stay on at all times?

LED themselves are rated very high for lifetime. I don't have an exact figure but probably longer than the life of the car. However, with them coded to be on at all times, you obviously lower that lifetime substantially as they are based on hours. But why code it instead of just leaving the headlight knob on the "ON" position all the time.
