3M Caliper Wrap

Hey guys, has anyone wrapped their calipers with caliper wrap such as the 3m Caliper wrap? Thinking of doing this on my dad's X5m first and if it goes well, i'll probably try it on my M4.

Any reviews or DIY guides is appreciated.

Otherwise I'll probably go powder coat route instead.

TIA

Don't bother, it's a nightmare to work with.

That looks really good, any more info on how you got this done? Did you remove the whole caliper to paint it?

Thanks!

I will let you know how it holds up; it states track temps may be too extreme. I took a substantial amount of time to prep and took my time painting.

No I removed everything but the caliper and taped off the area

Plastidip is rubber.

Superwrap is a sprayable vinyl polymer.

The finish is night and day, it's smooth like paint and comes out of the can with a high gloss metallic finish.

This was my first time using the product and I am very impressed
