Maybe the car in the spot to his right was originally parked farther to the left when he got there and then left. Then the Mazda pulled in, and parked between the lines. It's not like the M driver took up two complete spots.

That actually happened to my sister, went to the beach and all spots were taken except one, well the first car at the beginning of the row parked too far to the left which created a cascading effect. When we came back to the car 3 hours later, most of the cars had left except my sister. Now it looked like she was the one parking like a jackass because her car was taking up more than one space. Somebody left a note on her windshield that said: "Learn how to park dumbf*ck!" Also a nice footprint with a dent on her Lexus.

That's really messed up. Hate when people assume. All it takes is one person to throw off the whole row. Either way, people should never touch someone elses car.

My first thought as well, as that happens all the time. This is hardly an example of the egregious diagonal parking across 2 spaces.
