Mods delivered to an APO
I am military stationed in Korea and I have an 2008 M3 Sedan that will be delivered at the end of this month. I am interested in ordering the following mods:
Light bulb replacements: GP 8500K H8 35W GP 8500K H3 55W Front reflector replacement (the stock orange ones in Alpine White) The front grill that comes in chrome but I want it in black. I have a hard time getting companies to ship to an APO address. I would like to have all three shipped together. Anyone know any military friendly companies out there as I am frustrated. I have been dealing with this for 7 of the last 10 years stationed overseas. Thanks in advance. |

PM's sent
Thank you for the quick replies and for going the extra mile shipping to us overseas. I understand it is more work on your end, as they must be sent USPS but my options are extremely limited in Korea.

If you order something, anything from a company that don't ship APO. For example I've orderd products from Autopia or Premiumautocare which are automotive cleaning products and some items such as paint, cleaner, for plastic model hobbies, even some computer hardware. Those products are illegal to ship APO.
So I have an account with www.shipitapo.com All you do is register and the merchant you order from sends the product to a State side address in PA. Then shipitapo forwards the product to your APO address on file. The'll charge for the shipping by weight/size/insurance and it's not all that expensive. It normally takes a few extra days to turn it around and you'll get confirmation of your package delivered. Check it out. |

Its easy to ship small stuff overseas...just use a flat rate priority mail box. Some companies don't really understand this but it is the same price to ship to an APO as it is to ship within the US. I wouldn't really want to take a chance with big/heavy stuff like bumpers or wheels.
OT...you are seriously going to take delivery in Korea? Your car is going to get all dinged up. Not to mention the chances of an accident from all of the crazy/drunk drivers there. Anyway, see you there in a couple of months!
