Remote coding

What is needed for me to be able to remotely code someone's car? I have e-sys and they have the enet cable and a laptop and we can get team viewer but not sure if that's enough or does the other person need to have e-sys?

No, you can remote code with VPN. Meaning you can push your esys on your laptop through his laptop and cable without needing to download esys on his end. It sounds complex but not that bad. Just google search "esys how to remote code" and you'll find a pdf that floats around that'll explain the steps. A little too in-depth to list them out here

Never done remote coding but cant you just load remote access software like logmein or teamviewer and have someone remote in and take over control?
