Need Wing spoiler suggestion

Hi All,

I am currently considering putting a wing spoiler on my F82, have already checked bmw's OEM m performance wing, that thing looks great on an F87, not sure how it goes with F82, also this one is kinda expensive, more than 3k

Anyone here has suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Suggestion: don't do it. Just get the "lip" spoiler.

hi there, I already got the lip spoiler, waiting for installation. Can I know why you think wing spoiler is a bad idea?

I agree. The wing is too much in my opinion

I purchased my F82 with the m performance already installed.

At first I was skeptical because I've never been a fan of wings. (I always loved the smooth wingless look) After owning it, I've came to love the car with it and couldn't imagine it without it now.

I agree with some, it may be a little extra but I believe if you have the right set up (color, other aesthetics, wheel combo) you could make it flow nicely.

If you like it just go for it

Even GTS, we don't have to like it just because it came with the car, although it's more function over form on that model.

Sorry for double exposure but felt like a stationary photo will give a better idea for anyone looking to switch over.

The ricers of the 90's and early 00's have ruined wings. IMHO they are functional as long as you are actually using it.

Agreed to some extent. Most people don’t road race their cars on a regular basis though and it looks a bit silly. To each their own though.

Unfortunately there's no way to really tell if a wing is on a track car or not. Even people who don't track still get racing seats and harnesses.

Looks great! I've been on the fence about going with the same wing.

I really like the M Performance wing and want it, but I also think its too much for a stock bodied F8x. If a car had a widebody kit or very aggressive aero package and/or race car graphics, then it would make the wing look more at home.

Most people on the forums dislike wings on the F8X cars. I would say to just do what you want since it's your car. I personally have the RKP GTS wing on mine with the high rise mounts and I really like it. Remember it's not their car, it's yours lol.

All you need is an aggressive front splitter to balance the car. Widebody is not necessary.

Wing looks tacked on and feels more like an afterthought.
