Weather Tech trunk liner question

Hi all. Does anyone know if the 6 circles in the Weather Tech F82 trunk liner support the 6 point OEM cargo net? I can’t get a 100% straight answer from WT and I can’t find any pictures showing the net WITH the WT liner. I’m hoping that the circles are just discs that pop out and that you don’t have cut holes in the liner......Any pics showing both together would be great 👍

I have Weather Tech trunk mats in other cars and everything lines up perfectly. You do have to cut out the areas yourself. I use a No. 10 scalpel.

Thanks for your response. I’m hoping someone out there has pics of their Weather Tech cargo liner with the 6 point net.

I have an F80 instead and I can tell you that those circles don’t pop out and are part of the liner mold. You will have to cut them out. I didn’t realize the hook locations were different between the f80 and f82. I had to cut out the D shaped molds so my f80 2 hooks could be used with the net

I would assume those 6 circles on the liner lay directly on top of your 6 hook areas on your trunk board.

The 2 D shaped was directly over my f80’s hooks.

Thanks for the info and pics. Sure does look like the 6 circles do indeed line up for my F82 and it’s a shame they don’t pop out. Poor design by weather tech, imo. Certainly looks like the most durable and flush liner and the challenge will be to make the cut-outs “professional”
