BMW M4 OEM LED Black Headlights
2016 BMW M4 OEM LED Headlights painted black housing. Lights wrapped in XPEL PPF. One light has a small air leak so I would reseal them. They are in excellent condition.

Original owner of the car did it. Not sure what shop did the work. One of them was fogging a little in certain weather conditions. Looks like it wasn't sealed up perfectly. I doubt it would be super difficult to fix I just didn't bother trying.

If you do a little research on headlights and led technology you would probably come to the conclusion that your moisture issue is likely caused not by a bad seal, but likely from a lack of venting. If you do not see an extra hole somewhere in the back of the housing made by whoever modified these, then you can assume they maybe didnt know what they were doing. When we modify these housings we add a hole and either a breather vent or gore-tex patch to make sure the lights breathe freely, thus eliminating moisture build up when inside and ambient temps dont match up. |
