Please vote!!! New Wheel Finish Options

Looking at BC Forged RZ21 22" wheels in a 10.5/11.5 setup, but need to decide on what looks better with my Glacier Silver F15 50i.

I think both would look amazing. Leaning toward the Dark Brushed Black only because it's a more exclusive / unique translucent finish vs. the standard gloss black everyone has. Counter-argument for gloss black is supported by the fact all the trim on the vehicle is gloss black, and you can't go wrong, like apple pie. I need help!

Option 1: Dark Brushed Black
Option 2: Gloss Black

Here is a close proxy for my options considering my actual truck. 611M Winters in Orbit Gray and previous 612M Summers in Gloss Black.

To me, those Orbit Gray 611's look darker than the BC Forged Dark Brushed Black

Normally I vote against black wheels but in this case I voted Gloss Black - they look great (so do the Orbit Gray 611's) with all your M Sport black accents (roof rails, window trim) and M Performance accessories.

Just my .02, I'm sure both would look great. I'm a gloss black wheel convert after my F15 came with black 469's. I'd planned to sell them but when it arrived I loved them

Thank you! One of the many reasons I'm torn!

Both would look great, but for me personally I would choose Dark Brushed Black - it's close enough in color to compliment your black trim but just different enough to be a bit more individual and I think it suits the design of the wheels better too, you lose some of the definition of the spokes in gloss...

Well, normally I am a fan brushed; however, based on the provided pictures voted gloss.

Option 1 all the way...

Will look so sweet on the silver, love the contrast. And like you said it's unique!!!!

Can't wait to see the final pics.

Btw, do you have a brake upgrade thread of your setup by chance? i did a quick search on threads started by you but didn't see one.. I'm looking to do a very similar setup but i can't tell what you did on the rear brakes

Thanks! This is becoming a contested poll!

I upgraded my 50i stock setup to the MPBK, but found a local dealer to swap the solid MPBK rotors for the slotted F85 rotors for essentially no charge. All of the MPBK contents are individually packaged with BMW bar codes so the dealer can actually process a "return" on the rotors and order new F85 ones. Always boggled my mind that the cost is the same between the two different rotors. It just took convincing in person with about 6 dealers until I finally got one to fold!

I am not the most well read of these forums but my impression is that most people like the Toyo St III. That is what I run and no complaints here, though my opinion is not worth much.

I read about one person having the Atturo AZ580, or something like that, and he liked them but that is the only comment on those that I remember reading.

Love the brushed dark black!

The guys at BC Forged talked me into the Toyo Proxes ST III. $840 for a set is pretty affordable.

They also talked me into a 11.5" rear instead of my initial request of 12" by sending my multiple photos of a stretched 335/25/R22 on a 12" wheel. Since you can accomplish the same flush look and concavity profile with the custom offset it made sense to go with an 11.5" where the tire will fit perfectly.

Final offsets:

22x10.5+32
22x11.5+19

I would have voted Brushed black. That way when you go to sell them in year it's something I'd be interested in.

They look great, congrats

$840 for the set?! I just ordered the same ones on tire rack for $1050 with taxes. Maybe I should cancel and get them from the same place as you?
