Aftermarket downpipes - loud whining *audio*

So today I did my vrsf downpipes, charge pipes, spark plugs and oil (ready for E85 tune) was a huge pain doing on jacks and no help, but got it done.

Fortunately, when I started the car for the first time once it was all done, everything just worked!

Expect... when the car is under high load I get this whining noise, almost sounds like the car is screaming at me

I'm assuming I have a leak somewhere either at the vclamp between downpipe and turbo or between downpipe and midpipe, anyone experienced this before?

Audio here https://gofile.io/?c=r1dvYv (whine is much louder in person)

Doesn’t sound like an exhaust leak.
What else did you touch? Seems to somewhere around charge pipes. See if they’re seated properly on the turbos and of the clamps around the cooler are tight enough.

The airbox had to come out to get to the charge pipes easy. I don't think the airbox not hooked up properly would make this noise?

I'll check the charge pipes tomorrow.

Might sound silly but did you switch the o-rings from your stock charge-pipes to the new set before installing them?

From the charge pipe to mid pipe? Yes I installed new crush gaskets. Although I didn't for downpipe to turbo as I never saw this done in any of the tutorials.

Guess I'll be under and in the engine bay today with a spray bottle and soapy water finding a leak!

No not the downpipes, the charge pipes.

When you install the charge pipes you need to move the rubber O ring from the stock plastic ones over to the new ones before slipping them down onto the turbos or else you will have a leak under boost.

Watch this and fast forward to 5:30.

One of the clamps connecting the charge pipe to the intercooler wasn't on tight enough...

Are the DPs stuck on the turbo flanges?
V bands all the way off? Send a pic.
