Looking for HRE S101 M4 Fitment
Trying to get my hands on a pre-owned set as I cant swing the $10K cost for a fresh set. Anyone that is looking to sell please hit me up, I would be open to M3 fitment if the price was right and they could be re-barreled. Im located near Charlotte NC and not opposed to shipping. Thanks |

M4/M3 is the exact same fitment so why would they need to be re-barreled?
Bronze 19" on ebay right now: https://www.ebay.com/itm/BMW-M4-HRE-...53.m1438.l2649 |

I know the bolt pattern is the same. Im like 99.99999999% sure the offsets on m3 are not ideal for m4 and vice a versa

Cause you are wrong man and your research and your information is wrong. I was simply trying to help you but you take offense to it.
So go the fuck on with your search for M4 specific S101s. |

Bro maybe the guy who had the m4 got em from someone with an m3. HRE has told me themselves that for flush fitment WITHOUT RUNNING SPACERS the same wheels would need different offsets... unless you want to run spacers. Theres my source, the only source you have provided is that "you bought some wheels that fit one time"... how bout citing some facts

HRE will for sure make you a custom offset but that is not what either of us are saying. We are simply saying any HRE S101s made for an M4 or M3 will fit either one WITHOUT spacers. The offsets aren't 20-30MM where it would really make a difference. And just because HRE told you something doesn't make it true. But do whatever you want man hopefully Santa brings you an M4 specific set of S101s for Christmas. |

Yes and no because it depends on what you are looking to do. At the end of the day 10mm isn't going to look all that different but it will do is prevent you from running a wider tire on some wheels depended on the width. However what we are saying is you can buy a set of S101s and run on them any F8X car without issue or without there being a discernible difference on either one. Meaning they aren't going to be flush or poke on an M4 and sit inside the fender well on an M3.
Make sense? |

LOL wow this thread.
So let me preface this by saying I worked for HRE for several years and I can guarantee you that the sizing and offset between the M3 and M4 are 100% identical when you spec out HRE's recommended fitment (remember these are custom made to order, so some customers may opt for their own fitment request). The only instance where maybe an offset isn't the same would be if clearances were tight on certain wheels with ceramic brake options, but we'd be talking like 18" wheels so the drop center isn't right over the caliper, so an adjustment of a few mm's might be necessary (I encountered this maybe 5-6 times in the several years I worked there). At the end of the day though, M4 and M3 fitment are 100% exactly the same when referring to HRE's recommended fitment for the platform. They have ONE front fitment, 9.5" ET22 is usually it, sometimes ET20, and the rear is either 11" ET37 w/ 295 tires, or 11" ET42 with 305 tires. That's it, done deal.

Again, the fitment again is 100% identical between M3 and M4. Just in case you skipped over that, the fitment is identical between M3 and M4. Oh and one more time, the fitment between the M3 and M4? Yep, it's the same. How about down here too? Fitment is the same between M3 and M4. Or over here but in Blue? M3/M4 share wheel fitment. Have a blessed day

x2 FRONT 19x9.5" ET 14 x2 REAR 19X10.5" ET 27 Which isn't something HRE would have spec'd out honestly. Could be the original customer requested that fitment, maybe it could have come off a E9X M3 possibly, or maybe they were re-barreled and those were the end offsets after that service? Not sure, but the fronts/rears are slightly too aggressive for F8X for HRE to have recommended (they provide conservative fitments in most instances).
