Has anyone cut their stock exhaust when installing aftermarket tips? I just picked up a set of the stainless supreme power tips and installed this morning. Took about 10 min and they look great. My problem is to get them in far enough for my liking, the stock exhaust piece that slides into the tip almost sticks all the way through and is visible. I'm debating pulling the tips and cutting some off to remove the angle and shorten inward a bit. Anyone else have a similar issue? Thanks.
Edit: adding some pics. |

Do it as long as you don't have any plans on going back to stock tips. Let's see some pix of the new tips.

Sorry. Not working for some reason. I get to the attachment manager and it says 100% complete but won't give me any option other than hitting cancel. |
