EVO Start & BMW Labs...

I haven't driven this car in a bit and today there was a data transfer completed and I received a bunch of new apps. One of them is EVO start which I believe is a digital key from your phone through the app which allows you to start the car etc. The app was never very comprehensive and I rarely ever used it except to ventilate the vehicle but with this new feature are we able to remote start are vehicles or do we still have to go the route of buying a fob and burying in the car?
