gave my car a good cleaning

i had my Zaino laying around because I've been busy with work, i took some PTO so i can detail, tint and get pretty much drive it around.

step 1
i foam the car then wash it with Dawn(dish wash) to remove any layer of wax that the dealer put on it

step 2
i clay the whole car (sorry no pics)

step 3
rewash it with Z-7 PRO (sorry no pics either)

step 4
wax/polish with Z-2 show car polish

step 5
spray Z-6 Ultra Clean Gloss Enhancer Spray and buff off the whole car

step 6
repeat step 4 (12hrs later)

step 7
repeat step 5

ending result

Hmm looks clean. I don't use any dishwashing soap; I read it is harmful to the paint. Instead, I use Meguiares' wax remover. Here are the steps: Wash it, wax removal, clay it, use body scrubbs for any imperfection, polish it , wax it, and then wash it. I used Meguiares' soap. I'd like to stick to Meguiares' professional line for polish and wax. ALways had great results, and the paint always stayed beautiful.
But nice car

Looks great! I will need to visit one of the web sites since I have absolutely no idea what "clay" means.

its pretty much what it sounds like. It's a piece of clay (usually blue color) that pics up residue and particles that otherwise are hard to get rid of. Its a big PITA in my opinion because you have to be very patient to clay an entire car but it is great for the exterior of the car!

Claying takes the longest out of everything else but it worth it if you have the time to do so. paint feels smooth with no little bumps when u run ur hands over it

Any tips on finding a good detailer that does all of this work?

zaino is great for shine but it doesn't last very long... nor does it provide good water repeling ability
