Mods Complete (Mostly)

Alright folks. I think I am done with exterior mods. The new ones here are the roundel, rear deflector deletes, and tinted tail lights.

I don't think I will tune, nor lower. I would like to lower but am hesitant to do so with 22s. So far I have been happy with the 22s, mostly due to the roads being at least somewhat decent here.

I plan to add a CarPlay retrofit and perhaps a sub. After that, I think I am set.

I would have liked to add some CF bits to the interior but one of the only letdowns on this particular vehicle is that it didn't have CF interior trim. CF is not as important to me as others so not a huge letdown.

This car is about as black as can be which suits my personal tastes quite well...

Nice job. How strict are your local law enforcement agencies regarding tinted tail lights?

Two pieces of info on that.

1. The tinter said that as long as you can tell a difference between this and that (can't remember what "this and that" were) I should be fine. And he said this level of tint you could still tell a difference.

2. My wife's tail lights are tinted equally dark and we haven't had an issue (knock on wood) in the 1.5 years we have been driving it.

Generally speaking it is pretty lax on these types of issues. In Missouri you can't tint the front windows past 35% and my wife's are 15% and mine are maybe 20% and, again, no problems as of yet.

OIC. The cherry on top would be a black license plate. It would give new meaning to the term 'murdered out' look.

I will take a side view shot but I don't take a lot of side views. One reason is that the side view shot highlights the need to lower it. 2, after having the car for a month or so, I have realized my favorite angle is the rear 3/4 shot. I think you really see the muscularity and athleticism at that angle. The side view is ho hum in my opinion...but I am happy to oblige. A downer though...it did rain here today so not sure how it will look after work.

Just curious - why are you hesitant to lower with 22s?

I'm lowered on 22s with the KW V3 setup and the ride is better than stock, especially in terms of comfort.

I would probably be willing to give up the electronic suspension controls for a KW system but the total cost is a bit high for me at the present time. If I close a deal at work I might reward myself that way. I would definitely need to learn more about how to adjust them.

Also attached is a side pic. My lack of photography skills is very apparent lol.

desertfox73, that looks exactly like I would like. What "treatment" made your wheels that color? Very nice effect!!!

The wheels are Vossen HF2, tinted matte gunmetal finish.

They also have black options that would look killer on your car (though i personally really like what you have on there already).

Also, the center caps perfectly fit 58mm OEM logo center cap stickers.

Nope no chance! Most hobbies rarely come cheap, our F85 addiction is a good example, unless you can turn it into a successful business like Ben @r33_RGSport In the mean time, let's all enjoy the

In Texas we have black plates available, I ordered a color swap for my personalized plate on mine before I even got it home hehe.

I have about the same car with the CF trim, it's nice, though it picks ups smudges like crazy.

I love those rims, what are they? Offset and what tire size?

Nice! Love that! B4dWolf It's awesome to know you have the color option, in addition to personalized plates
