Coding out 2 honks when locking a running car?
I did a quick search and didn't see anything related to this. I was wondering is bimmercode has this option. I would like to lock a running car without the annoying 2 honks, quite honestly a beep would suffice (I coded out regular lock and unlock beeps)

As a tidbit, there is no need to "code" out the lock/unlock beeps, as the beeps can be activated or de-activated through an iDrive option.
However, what I did do is code out the unlocking beep but keeping the locking beep. It is just a personal preference, but I do like the confirmation upon locking, however I do not need nor want the unnecessary attention from the double beep when unlocking.

Anyone know what ECM and values need to be changed? BTW I hate the two honk thing.

You can code out the lock on running. It's in the roof/center options in bimmercode. Just did it for my buddies 435GC. He starts the car in the morning and locks to walk away while it warms up.
