f82 mirror won't fold holding lock button

I just got a new 2019 M4 F82(competition+executive) but I am unable to fold the mirrors holding the lock button. They fold when I press the button inside the car but for some reason holding the BMW lock button does nothing. Another issue - When I hold the unlock, both side glass goes down but they won't come up after holding the lock button. I didn't find any setting regarding this in the Idrive

This is a notion that needs to be coded in. Either have someone do it for you, or download and use Esys to code to your liking. Anti dazzle headlights, comfort access etc

Mine hold when pressing the lock button for a few seconds and I'm not coded. That should work out the box.

yeah that is a standard feature on all of the bmws but idk why I haven't got one. My rpm meter is not even locked till break in service, maybe I need to go to the dealer and ask what's going on

There's no rev limit during break in other than what the engine is designed
You can rev to 7599 all day long

It's a "safety" feature here in the U.S. that you can't roll your windows up with the fob. You can do it via holding your finger on the handle, but as others mentioned, we have to do code our cars to enable the lock-by-fob feature.

You need your car coded.

Sorry, windows don't roll up. I don't believe the mirrors fold either.
