bm3 stage 1 93 vs stage 2 93 without dps

Hey guys, looking for a little bit of info/advise. I have a m4 with exhaust and intakes but not Dps. I have tried the stage 2 93 octane and the stage 1 93 octane. The stage 1 actually feels faster in 2nd gear, but I do notice the top end isnt quite as strong as stage 2. Is stage 1 possibly stronger in 2nd gear on purpose? Is it possible i am seeing this because I dont have DPs for stage 2? Curious..

Datalog both maps and it will show the timing and boost on different RPMs
