100% Throttle Question

I am sorry if this is a common sense question or I should know this already. I have always wondered, even now, is 100% including or excluding the kick down button?

I keep thinking if the car is at 100% throttle at the kick down button or do I have to press it to be at 100% throttle?

Thanks and sorry if this is a noob question.

100% throttle is not including the button kickdown. The button at the end is only to get the auto trans or DCT to downshift to lowest possible gear when accelerating hard.

Thanks. That actually makes sense that flooring the car to kick down but not including is 100% throttle while the kickdown is for finding the lowest gear.
