Maximum PSI F80 M3 shop car - info/pics/video

Hi Guys,

We have been off of the forums for a bit, but we have been very active on the R&D side if things, along with racing our car whenever time allows! Here is a brief rundown of the package that we were running most recently:

MaxPSI built motor
Ported head
Upgraded Rods and Pistons
MaxPSI keyed crank hub
Pure S2+ turbos
Fuel-it S4 fuel system
Evolution of Speed intercooler
Evolution of Speed intake manifold
RK tunes/MaxPSI custom software
MaxPSI downpipes
MaxPSI 3.5" full exhaust
DSS Driveshaft and axles
Ethanol fuel

Here are some pics of the car in action, along with a video from our last outing where we reset the overall F series 1/4 mile record(9.3@151mph):

What do you guys think the reasonably safe HP limit for the engine is with your crank hub fix?

I have your CH, but i was thinking about some Pure Tubos...

We try and keep torque around 600 ft/lbs on stock rods. We have definitely made more than that.

Nah, just didnt hit stop on the dyno soon enough. It ends up with a "tail" on the graph if that happens.

Clutch or tire slip would happen right where torque ramps up like crazy. It's easy to see by plotting "gear ratio" on a dynojet. You will see the ratio isnt constant during wheel spin.

Really depends on turbo size and torque management among other things. A stock turbo car may make 640+ ft/lbs and 600whp, where another car with larger turbos and custom tuning may make 700+whp and stay well under 600 ft/lbs.

Thanks! We have Pure S2+ turbos on the car when we made 900whp and ran the 9.3@151. We have been super satisfied with all of the different Pure turbo upgrades that we pushed to the limits.

The next revision consists of a new fuel system and a DOC Race twin 3076R kit with some lofty hp goals!

It is a 16" slick with a bunch of work to make it fit.

I'm not exactly sure how much more we need, but we will have a triple pump setup

I'm assuming lots of rear brake mods haha, thanks for the knowledge. I myself have my car at Rhom Innovations getting the docrace kit, just wanted to get some info on the last few mods to round out my car.
Also I'm having an ice tank built in my trunk to help with cooling any other reliability mods you can recommend before I dive into a built motor and head package from you guys 😜
