couldnt find videos of both with just downpipes, every one seems to be running full exhaust setups or rear section with mids.
Looking for a deeper tone with more cracks and burbles.
any clips or opinions are very much appreciated

If your goal is a deeper tone you should not be getting downpipes. Downpipes changes the tone to be more raspy, higher pitch which sounds horrible.

Maybe you got a defective one or a did not install it correctly. We have not had any complaints

Akrapovic and downpipes is great. Akrapovic really cleans it up

Akra quality is superb and i really like that they use titanium on their exhaust, but i would not go as far as saying no one comes close in terms of quality/sound *cough* REMUS *cough*

True and I have owned two of them. But as far as sound goes there are better options out there.

I’m switching from Akra to Remus. Both are great, just want to change it up and see what the hype of AA/ Remus is all about
